Long workdays, frequent travel, and pets who need more than a quick visit

Round Rock is a city with a lot of working professionals and busy families. The commute into Austin or across town can be long. Weekend sports trips happen constantly. Pets need coverage that actually keeps up with that pace.

Midday walks for working pet parents

When you are out the door before 8 and not back until after 6, that is a long time for a dog to hold it and stay calm. A regular midday walk takes care of the bathroom situation, gets some energy out, and makes the back half of the day a lot more manageable for both of you.

Overnight sitting

We stay in your home overnight, so your dog keeps their bed, their food bowl, and their whole normal evening. This is the option most Round Rock families choose for anything longer than a day trip. No boarding stress, no change in routine, and someone actually there at night.

Vacation drop-in visits

If you are heading out for a sports weekend or a longer trip, we come by twice or three times a day to feed, walk, and check in. You get photos and a note after every visit so you are not left guessing. Great fit for cats and for dogs who do okay on their own overnight.

Cat sitting

Drop-in visits for cats cover fresh food, water, litter, and some company for the ones who actually want it. Cats do not need a houseguest, but they do need someone checking in. We keep it low-key and on their terms.

Round Rock FAQ

Questions we hear from Round Rock pet owners

Do you cover Round Rock neighborhoods, or just certain parts of the city?

We cover Round Rock as part of our regular service area, including both the established neighborhoods closer to the city center and the newer master-planned communities on the edges. If you are not sure whether your address is in range, just reach out and we will confirm.

I work a long day and my dog is home alone from early morning until evening. What do you recommend?

A recurring midday walk is the most practical fix for that situation. It breaks up the day, handles bathroom needs, and gives your dog a reason to burn some energy instead of spending the afternoon staring at the door. Most of our regular Round Rock clients book a midday walk five days a week and see a big difference in how settled their dog is by the time they get home.

We are traveling for a weekend trip or longer. What is the best option for our dog?

For most dogs, overnight sitting is the best fit for anything longer than a single day. Your dog stays home, keeps their normal sleeping spot, and has someone there through the night. For shorter trips or for cats, drop-in visits work well. We are happy to talk through the specifics during the free meet-and-greet.

How soon should I book during busy seasons?

The earlier the better, especially around summer travel and major holidays. Those windows tend to fill up quickly across all of our north Austin coverage area. A few weeks ahead works for most bookings, but if you have a specific date in mind, reaching out a month or more ahead gives you the most flexibility.
